When setting up your aircraft profile in OzRunways there is a field for 'Aircraft Type'. If you are submitting flight notifications to the relevant authority (NAIPS, IFIS etc.) it is important that this field is correct as it will pre-fill into the flight notification form.
There used to exist an Aircraft Type Designator lookup tool on the ICAO website, however at the time of writing (early 2026) that tool no longer works.
As an alternative the list found at https://skybrary.aero/aircraft-types appears to be reasonably comprehensive. You will need to find and click into your aircraft type to find the ICAO type designator, as shown in the image below.
