Feature Comparison: SkyEcho vs Sentry vs Sentry Plus

ADS-B In vs ADS-B In and Out:
A portable ADS-B In device, such as the Sentry and Sentry Plus are perfect for an aircraft that already has an ADS-B Out transponder equipped. For those searching for a portable ADS-B In and Out solution, the SkyEcho will broadcast your position, which can be picked up by ADS-B In devices.

External GPS:
Your ADS-B can be used to supplement a Wi-Fi only iPad, which doesn't come with an in-built GPS.

Pitch and Roll data (AHRS):
The Sentry includes an Attitude Heading Reference System (AHRS), which provides a real-time depiction of your aircraft's pitch and bank in OzRunways. Flexible calibration options allow you to get accurate AHRS data no matter where you mount your Sentry in your aircraft.

Barometer:
Used for pressure altitude, which allows OzRunways to more accurately display the vertical separation between yourself and other aircraft.

CO monitor and alarm:
A built-in carbon monoxide sensor and alerting system, which sounds an audio alert when CO concentration reaches a hazardous level. The LED indicator provides a visual indication of CO levels going from green to yellow to red.

Wi-Fi Client Support:
There is no need to choose between the Sentry Plus and your existing cockpit Wi-Fi solution. This allows you to remain connected to the internet while using your Sentry Plus. Setup is quick and easy thanks to the OLED display, and the Sentry Plus will automatically connect to known client Wi-Fi networks for a set-and-forget solution.

If you fly without a sim card or data plan in your OzRunways device, it's necessary to hotspot an internet connection via Bluetooth, in order to connect your ADS-B device via Wi-Fi. Sentry Plus improves the reliability and accuracy of this process by acting as a central hub for the internet connection between your devices.

Accelerometer/G-Force meter:
Keep an eye on your inflight g's while practicing manoeuvres with the built-in g-meter. Current g's are displayed on the OLED screen.

OLED Display:
Sentry Plus's bright, high-contrast OLED screen displays live flight metrics for g-Load, Speed, and GPS accuracy, as well as battery state, connection information, and client Wi-Fi network details.

Universal USB-C Charging:
Sentry Plus can be charged with any USB-C charger, not just the one it is shipped with. Fast charging is not supported.
